Whether your event involves ten people in a boardroom setting or 1000 people for a multi-day convention, we have a venue to suit your requirements.
For small to medium-sized conferences all nine of our venues can accommodate meetings and conferences. Many of the spaces within the venues have operable walls which give the flexibility to expand and contract the capacity of a space to suit your event requirements. A large majority of our spaces have natural light and many enjoy spectacular views.
Within the Auckland Conventions portfolio, we have two venues that offer large auditoriums with tiered seating. Aotea Centre has the capacity to seat 2139 in the ASB Theatre and the Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna has capacity to seat 1069 delegates. For large conventions these venues also have multiple rooms that can be used as break out spaces and foyers that can be utilised for exhibitions and displays.
Location is key when considering which venue is right for your conference or meeting. We have a selection of venues conveniently located in Auckland’s CBD including Auckland Town Hall, Aotea Centre and Auckland Art Gallery. Or if you wish to escape the hustle and bustle of the city consider holding your meeting or conference at Mt Smart Stadium in Penrose, North Harbour Stadium in Albany, Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna or Auckland Zoo in Western Springs.
From our experience, running effective conferences and meetings comes down to preparation and timing. When you book a meeting space with Auckland Conventions you will be allocated a dedicated event coordinator who will work with you to bring your event to life. They will not only support you with logistical decisions and develop floor plans and run sheets, they will also introduce you to our gourmet caterers who will develop a menu to suit your budget and dietary requirements.
Our technical services team are experts in providing the right tools for your meeting from audiovisual equipment, laptops and internet access down to whiteboards and markers. With their in-depth experience of our venues they will ensure that your meeting runs without a hitch.
