Auckland Art Gallery

Auckland Art Gallery is an awe-inspiring venue that combines modern and heritage architecture to create a beautiful backdrop for wedding ceremonies and receptions. As the Auckland Art Gallery is open to the public from 9 - 5pm, 7 days a week, weddings can only be held in the evenings outside of public opening hours.

Auckland Town Hall

Create a fairytale wedding at Auckland Town Hall. Attractive stained-glass windows, ornate plasterwork and spectacular chandeliers combine to make this beautiful heritage building.​

Dedicated Wedding Event Coordinator 

We understand how important your wedding day is and that is why we offer, free of charge, the services of a dedicated Wedding Event Coordinator. Our Event Coordinator will work with you to transform your wedding day vision into reality. Their extensive experience makes them invaluable for providing recommendations of the best suppliers to work with and they know our venues inside out. They will work with you to tailor the perfect wedding package to suit your budget and requirements. You can rest assured that your day will run seamlessly so you can relax and enjoy the most special day of your life.

Catering and Technical Services

Our contracted caterers and their talented chefs can create a customised menu to suit your wedding budget and dietary requirements. Any technical requirements can be expertly managed by our technical service​s team to ensure the smooth running of your wedding ceremony and reception.

No, there are no exceptions to this.  Our contracted caterers provide all food and beverages consumed on our premises. You may supply your own wedding cake.  Your Event Coordinator will provide you with the details of the catering partner(s) for your venue and you can discuss your menu requirements directly. Our caterers can help you with any cultural or dietary requirements.

Absolutely.  Our catering partners can customize a menu for your special day and include cultural, religious or dietary requirements.

No. BYO is not permitted in our venues. Our contracted caterers can provide you with a beverage package or menu to suit your requirements.  Please discuss your requirements with our caterer.

Yes, subject to other clients on the premises, but this can be arranged prior to your wedding day. Please note conditions apply to taking photos at the Art Gallery. Please discuss with your Event Coordinator.

No.  We manage a number of venues with spaces that cater for a variety of budgets.  Please review our venues and choose the venue that best suits your theme and we will provide details for the appropriate caterer.  

Mt Smart Stadium and QBE Stadium can provide parking for guests. Our other venues are within walking distance of public car parking facilities. For wedding party parking, please discuss with your Event Coordinator.

Standard table cloths, chair covers and ties are available at an additional cost, or you are welcome to arrange directly with a specialist supplier.

Yes*. Please advise your Event Coordinator of your plans so that the necessary arrangements for delivery and collection can be made. 

*All flowers brought into the Art Gallery must be commercially treated

Venue hire is until midnight.  If you think you will require more time please consult with your Event Coordinator. Additional charges may apply.

Except Auckland Art Gallery, venue hire includes standard table and chairs*, air conditioning (where applicable), house lights (where applicable), general room power and standard housekeeping services. Please note lights at most venues cannot be dimmed and additional lighting is recommended – please talk to your coordinator.

Yes, all our venues are wheelchair accessible.  If possible, let us know in advance so the necessary arrangements can be made.


Yes, we are able to supply a dance floor and themed lighting, at an additional cost. You are welcome to arrange this directly with a specialist supplier. This will need to be approved by our H&S advisers.
