Elegant and stylish Auckland Town Hall's Concert Chamber is spectacular for performances, cocktails, or banquets.

With a 1.1 metre elevated stage, Concert Chamber can seat 419 theatre-style, accommodating 312 and 107 respectively across the stalls and balcony levels.

Stalls seating have the ability to be removed, transforming the space into flat-floor for cocktails and banquets.

Theatre rigging points have also been installed into the ceiling to support custom lighting and sound set-ups. A feature that was used during New Zealand Fashion Week to turn the space into a Catwalk.

The Concert Chamber is also renowned for its incredible acoustics and is adjacent to the Great Hall.

Did You Know

Auckland Town Hall's Concert Chamber was originally named Lesser Hall. In reference to the smaller size when compared to the larger Great Hall, it was only renamed during the 1997 refurbishment. This photo was taken during 1911 construction before the venue opened later that year.

The social and historical significance that the Concert Chamber brings to any event is of considerable value alone and is only enhanced by the continued conservation of Auckland Town Hall.
