Last week, ACVE had the privilege of hosting not one, but two powerful events that brought the business events industry together under one roof — ours.

As part of the MEETINGS 2025 festivities, we welcomed elite planners, key decision-makers, and event professionals from across North America, Australia and New Zealand to experience what makes ACVE’s venues more than just spaces — they're the launchpads for remarkable events.

Sunday: A Personalised Welcome for Top Australian PCOs

Our first event was an intimate showcase for 20 of Australia’s leading PCOs and event planners. With premium hospitality and direct engagement with our team, the evening was a perfect opportunity to offer planners a chance to experience our newly reopened event space, the MOTAT Aviation Hall, exactly as their clients would — with seamless flow, considered design, and standout service.

Thursday: 700 Planners. One Unforgettable Celebration.

Just a few days later, we opened the doors again — this time at our flagship venue, the Viaduct Events Centre, to 700 industry professionals from North America, Australia and New Zealand for an electric post-conference celebration dinner.

The night unfolded with immersive food stations, entertainment, and carefully designed activations — all set against the backdrop of one of our most iconic venues. From the moment guests arrived, it was clear: this wasn’t just another networking event — it was a celebration of everything that makes our industry special.

For many, it was their first time inside one of our venues. For us, it was the perfect opportunity to show (not tell) what hosting with ACVE really looks like.

Why We Opened Our Doors

We offered our venues for these events because we believe in the value of firsthand experience. The business events industry is built on trust, inspiration, and creativity — and the best way to demonstrate what we can do is to invite people in and let them feel it for themselves.

These events allowed us to connect with planners from across the region and demonstrate our capability, not just through words, but through action, energy, and atmosphere.
