New Zealand Maritime Museum Hui Te Ananui a Tangaroa is the place where the stories of people and the sea are preserved, shared, and explored. The museum is a hub for all these stories. They are expressed in the galleries, through programmed events, special exhibitions, heritage sailings and more.

Conveniently located near the ferry terminal and close to the Britomart Transport Centre, NZMM is easily accessible to all visitors. In the heart of Auckland City centre, it is walking distance from hotels, shopping, and dining options.

Parking 

The closest car parking is at the Downtown Car Park with access from Customs Street West. There is an overhead walkway that connects this car park to the pedestrian precinct outside the Museum. There is mobility parking in Downtown Car Park.

Accommodation 

This venue is located in central Auckland and has a large range of accommodation options in close proximity including M Social, Park Hyatt and The Hilton.
