Elegant and stylish, the Hōro ā-Tāone o Tāmaki Makaurau | Auckland Town Hall's Concert Chamber is spectacular for performances, cocktails, or banquets.

With a 1.1 metre elevated stage, the Concert Chamber can seat up to 419 theatre-style across the stalls and balcony levels.

The space is transformed to a grand flat-floor space for cocktail and banquets when the stalls seating is removed.

Theatre rigging points have also been installed into the ceiling to support custom lighting and sound set-ups - a feature that was used during New Zealand Fashion Week to turn the space into a catwalk.

Like the adjacent Great Hall, the Concert Chamber is also renowned for its incredible acoustics.

Did You Know

Hōro ā-Tāone o Tāmaki Makaurau | Auckland Town Hall's Concert Chamber was originally named Lesser Hall. In reference to the smaller size when compared to the larger Great Hall, it was only renamed during the 1997 refurbishment. This photo was taken during the 1911 construction before the venue opened later that year.

The social and historical significance that the Concert Chamber brings to any event is of considerable value alone, and is only enhanced by the continued conservation of Hōro ā-Tāone o Tāmaki Makaurau | Auckland Town Hall.
