Opened in August 2011, the Viaduct Events Centre has seven rooms available, including central Auckland's largest banquet space capable of seating up to 1,200 guests. There are numerous options available across the 6,000m2 centre.
The building has been designed to make the most of its impressive waterfront location with glass walls, balconies and easy access to the wharf. It also has excellent environmental standards.
Already proving popular with event organisers, the venue has been praised not just for its location and design, but also for the technical facilities and smooth running of functions. Events to date include the Auckland International Boat Show, New Zealand Fashion Week, Auckland Seafood Festival and the Volvo Ocean Race stopover.
The Viaduct Events Centre takes pride of place in Auckland's reinvigorated Wynyard Quarter. Restaurants, cafes and public spaces have combined to create a stunning waterfront walk enjoyed by both locals and visitors. The venue is just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre where a wide-range of accommodation is available.
